Hi,

I just switched to ATI Wonder 650, and with GB PVR everything just works awesome, the only the issue that when i start any recording the live tv just freezes and i can't watch any channel till stop the recording.

Can you please suggest to fix this problem.

Thanks.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

If you have just the one tuner card in your computer, then you certainly aren't going to be able to watch a different channel than the one you're recording. If it's just that you can't watch the same channel that you're recording, then you should provide the logs for sub to look at.

prouton is correct, clicking live tv should tell you that no capture device is available, but give you the option to watch the recording that is in progress.

Its not clear to me exactly where in you logs this occurred. I dont suppose you remember the exact time?

You are right, it does give me that message but when i select to view the current channel (the one being recorded) the video freezes and the recording continues. I can't not see anything from that point on till i stop the recording.

Attaching updated logs, error occurred: 10:35 AM onwards, i stopped recording at 10:38 AM. (03/19/2007), As soon as i stop recording the live tv works fine.

I'm not really sure.

Does it make any difference if you explicitly select the playback decoders in the config app rather than relying on 'system default'? (also dont pick the Intervideo decoders)
