The recording service is improperly scheduling hte EPG wake events on my machine, and I do have the latest patch of the recording service. or at least the one you reference in the survival guide.

here is the specific line of the confused log
Code:
2007-[B]03-20 03:06[/B]:47.656    VERBOSE    [8]    Scheduling next EPG wake up for...[B] 3/20/2007 3:00:00 AM[/B]

its scheduling a wakeup event in the past Sad

let me know if you want the whole log

Someone mentioned this a few days back, and I made a fix, but I cant remember if I posted the patch or not. I'm not in a position to post it at the moment.

thats fine, as long as its consistent I can just update hte EPG manually

I am not really worried about it, but it just started doing this regularly this release, so the first couple times it didnt update I was confused... good thing none of the shows my girlfriend cared about were missedSmile

thanks

I posted about this recently, after seeing that in the logs also. It seems to occur every few days. When it happened again this week, I let it be, and it updated the next day properly, so not a big deal.

I have not seen a patch. But sub has his own hardware issues to deal with right now.
What, me worry?
