DVR-MS missing time code information

ive noticed that the current feeling is that DVR-MS is the mux of choice. when it was running on my system it didnt seem to write any time code information into the recorded file, consequently i couldnt forward wind or skip backwards using my media player. Installing the cyberlink thmpgmux solved the problem and although its early days ive had no problems at all with quality or skipping. ive also found the mpeg2 files much easier to deal with and process.

has anyone else had problems with DVR-MS not recording time codes ?

I should clarify - thats only my opinion when it comes to recording with ATSC devices, which seem to have problems with the other muxes.

Personally I use DVB devices and the Cyberlink mux (5.0.0.1307). I prefer the convenience of .mpg files.

That said, I've not had the problem you describe with DVR-MS when I've used it.
