doesn't relate in anyway to gbpvr, but i have a usa version of sd600 camera. The battery charage says 100V-240V AC 50/60 Hz. If I go to europe for a trip, do i need some special electrical adaptor to charge my battery, or do i just plug it into the wall? What about china/southeast asia? link would be helpful. thanks.

you will need an adaptor (for europe) as the plugs are physically different from the US.

The specs for the transformer are fine.

For most of europe, I'd need "C", then "E" for france, "F" for germany, and "G" for england? So I'd need to by like 4-5 different plugs?

I think C and G would do fine for Europe and the UK. The others differ only in the ground by the looks of it.
There are multiway adapters that cover the whole lot. Something like

http://www.geeks.com/details.asp?InvtId=...&cpc=RECOM

"This Universal AC Travel Adapter lets you charge your laptop, PDA, and cell phone as you travel around the globe.

Designed to work with all different types of outlets, it works in places as diverse as Europe, Asia, the U.S., China, and the UK. Rated to handle both 110 and 220–240-volt standards, this Travel Adapter allows you to connect to international power outlets without a complicated power conversion. "

Should be ok with just 'C' or 'F' for mainland Europe, and 'G' if you visit United Kingdom

I tried your side of the road a few years back, I nearly killed myself, a passenger, a motorcylcist and on one occasion a bear. Don't even ask, but it was a good holiday.

I recall a couple of junctions outside Apeldoorn with your strange "give way to this tiny side road on the right" that nearly killed me time after time after time.
