Excellent. A bit sad though.

Cheers,

the GBPVR youtube viewer is really useful, but its hard to browse as you would in your browser... i wish you could add links like K.S' to a shared GBPVR folder that would then show up in 'favourites'

So: i copy the link, paste it into a folder thats shared within GBPVR root folder, and then GBPVR shows a list of these links. I dont know how you would manage changing the random filenames to something that shows up as a more meaningful file name like 'Kiwi' though??

Just a thought!

You get a few free ones every month. Good for when you just need a quick conversion.

Try SUPER

GUI to ffmpeg or mencoder for those odd jobs like this.

SUPER is my default converter for .flv to .gp3 conversion. It also converts .mov files to .avi etc, and all the usual mpeg>avi, avi>mpeg, etc.

Theres nothing really special about the GUI, its just a frontend to ffmpeg or mencoder, if you trust those then you get the same results from SUPER, just with an easier interface for the occasional job.

The online site is http://www.zamzar.com

Personally I prefer to do it offline with Firefox plugin VideoDownloader and Super© from http://www.erightsoft.com as it is a useful addition to the toolbox. Give both methods a spin and see what you think.
