Hi,
Just installed the 'test' version of Videoarchive on a clean install of GBPVR. One the problems I'm facing is that I can't always see my DVD Movies listing.

This is what happens.

I convert a DVD and everything works fine. As soon as I restart the gbpvr recordingservice, I can no longer view the DVD list. Tells me to please wait.

So then I convert another DVD. As soon as it is finished, I see 2 movies under the DVD list. If I restart again, can't see it. Seems that that only way I can view the DVD list is if I rip a DVD every time I restart the gbpvr recording service.

Thanks for the help!
Mike

Hmm. Would you mind zipping up and posting your config.xml and video archive.db3 files?

Hi Jeff,

Attached is the 'config.xml' file.

I can't seem to upload the DB3 file. Compressed, it's about 1.92 MB but everytime I try to attach it, my browser session times out. Strange.

Anyway, send me your email and I'll send you the DB3 file.

Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Attached are the logs from the system with the 'Please Wait...' loop. I restarted the system and now cannot view the DVD list.

Thanks for your time,
Mike

For some reason it keeps saying it can't find the database. I think the database upgrade may have failed. Could you try renaming the video archive.db3 database in the d:\gbpvr directory to video archive.db3.old, rerun the ConvertVADatabase.exe utility and then post the ConvertVADatabase.log file?

Thanks

Hey Jeff,

Did as instructed, and the below entry pops up in the log:

04/02/07 05:57:19:752 PM[1] SQLite database already exists; exiting

I checked to make sure the DB3 file was renamed, and even pulled it out of the folder. Every time I get the same error.

Thanks,
Mike

How about in your main gbpvr database - do you have a video archive.db3 file in there?

You mean in 'c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr'?

Ya, GBPVR.DB3 is in there.

Thanks,
Mike
