VMR9 color tint issue

When I use the VMR9 overlay mode, all my videos have a color tint and the tint will change from blueish/yellowish/greenish as the video changes from scene to scene. If I switch to overlay manager in the config app, I don't have the issue.

I'm assuming it has something to do with my video cards ability to do the transparency overlays(though the color tint appears whether or not overlays are present. My video card is a radeon 8500 and I'm using the Svideo output. I tried all the vmr9 options in config as well as vmr7 with the same issue.


Any ideas on a way around this? I'm fine just living without the transparencies, but it would be nice if they worked for me.

While watching video, if you press 'F11' then '2', does it let you fix it?

Awesome! That fixed the problem. The saturation was set at about 1/4, perhaps the threshold was low enough that it was causing either the tv or the card to jump the color gamut around a bit. I can't say enough how much I appreciate your work on this program. I'll be making a donation!
