What are the duplicate channels with (Audio #2) after the name? Should I disable them or do they do something useful?

I'm in the UK using dvb-t via a Winfast DTV1000 T. TIA

just ignore them. They do not have any sound and I think that they are used for carrying services such as those for the hard of hearing.

[edit] sorry, if you have already mapped them then delete these channels

Actually the other way round. Smile

They carry whats called a 'visually impaired commentary'. They don't carry the main audio of a programme just the occasional voice of a narrator who describes an 'action' which has no dialogue - an example would be someone hearing a noise outside and they walk over to the window to see what's going on - the narrator would say 'Fred walks over to the window and pulls back the curtain'.

I've recently installed a Nova-T-500 and have just started playing around with GB-PVR (potential functionallity looks impressive - "How to's" not so easy to find - still I suppose the fun's in the learning)

Does this happen on all cards and hardware configurations? I've got this problem too, so it happens on at least two setups. I also have a number of other problems with which I am experimenting as well as researching on the forums. Now while that's all great fun, if there was another source of "How to's" guides to which someone could point me, it would save me and others a bit of time.

I've been through the Documentation Wiki and Wikipedia already.

BTW Thanks to the thread for solving one of my problems. Smile - Client/Server here we come...

Its normal. These extra channels are for 'visually impaired commentary'.
