If some of you wouldn't mind trying this version out I'd love to hear the results.
Please back up you working version of ZProcess before trying this test for me...
The big thing I'm working on is the pause that ZProcess waits when checking dimensions and fps for a video file.
Till now, you had to set the pause time in tenths of seconds. It's a dropdown on the Transcode section, 'more' section.
I have written a routine that will help isolate the pause specific to your own computer. It learns. That way, ZProcess will only wait exactly the amount of time it needs...
Now, beside the pause dropdown is a checkbox that is the lock. That means that after you're sure you have the pause time just about right, you should lock it off. That way, if there's a one off, that needs much much more time, it won't skew the results.
Some of this might not make sense but, what I'd like you to try is
Thank you in advance for your help

Some of this might not make sense but, what I'd like you to try is
- start ZProcess.
- Make sure the pause time is 0.01.
- On the file tab, double- click a video file. You will notice the mplayer window flashing at least once per file. If it flashes twice or three times, ZProcess knows that the pause isn't fast enough and is adjusting the pause time
- Double click another file, and another, and another. You may flip back to the transcode tab and notice that the pause time is incrementing.
- When you have tried a bunch, you may want to lock it. Then I'd like you to try and see if regular use is good and stable.
- I'd love you to zip and send the logs.
Thank you in advance for your help
