Music Vis Doesn't stay fullscreen

In the last couple of releases, I've noticed that when i play music and have the visualization in fullscreen it kicks me out of fullscreen at the next song - I still get an inset though. Can someone confirm that it happens to them as well? The upgrade to a new version coincided with a new mobo without a fresh install so I'm not sure where the problem lies right now.
