Music Player question/problem

As sub has noted in other threads his focus is on video so the Music Player part of gbpvr is pretty basic. Having seen what MCE can do with music I thought I would try the Musicplayer plugin.

It installed okay and my music library is on a network drive with about 30 folders (albums) with about 15 songs/album. gbpvr plays those fine.

But when I select Musicplayer a few problems occur

1. It takes ages for the plugin to display all the songs in folder (hour glass is displayed)
2. Sometimes navigation doesn't work - that is trying to move from folder to folder using the cursor doesn't do anything.
3. Installation of the plugin has affected playback of videos - they now play jerkily whereas before it was all smooth. I confirmed this by deselecting the plugin in the config application and then deleting all the DLL's in the Plugin directory

I wonder if anybody has had a similar problem to what I am describing
