Media MVP Stream vs. UVNC?

I was having a browse through my event viewer the other day (application) and saw that winvnc caught a few events and I remembered that winvnc uses port 5900 (and the repeater is 5901) and that the MediaMVP uses a similar range too, according to an old post by tipstir...

Is there any chance these two have been fighting each other?

not sure if it helps but I've been running ultravnc and mvps for a while now and I've never seen any conflicts...

I'm running UltraVNC and 3 MVPs on my box. When I look at the ports in use in the 5900 range, I see VNC using 5900 and my 3 MVPs using 5906, 5907 and 5908. I've never experienced conflicts.

I'm not sure what events you see. The only VNC events I see in my event viewer are those where people are trying to log into my machine remotely and fail on the password. Hacking bastards...

This. But not preceded by any GBPVR activity, so probably no drama as sub notes. I was just interested in whether there is a possible conflict and sub has clarified this.
