making vista look like xp....

I came across this link: http://answersthatwork.com/Download_Area...c_Look.pdf,which has tutorial for making vista look more xp classic, or 2k to be exact. It's pretty good.

Besides what was mentioned in the tutorial, any other suggestions?

I'd love to have the extended xp start menu w/ two columns and recently launched programs since the vista classic look gives a start menu that's more like 2k/95/98.

-To make start menu pop out faster:
start regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop, and set value of MenuShowDelay to 0.

To put the menubar at top of ie7, edit the registry w/ the following commands:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]
"ITBar7Position"=dword:00000001

or save as file w/ topmenu.reg extension and double click on it.

To undo:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar\WebBrowser]
"ITBar7Position"=dword:00000000

or save as file w/ ie7menu.reg extension and double click on it.
