Weather plugin info to main menu page?

I am using default Blue skin and have Weather plugin installed.

I only use GB-PVR for local music, video, pictures and netradio - I dont use any TV features. So as default in main menu I also see useless black box with text "Next Recording - none scheduled".

How could I change the main page layout so it would display for example Weather plugin "Details" page?

Or even something else, like custom picture, anything else than that useless "Next Recording" -box?

Find the line below in GBPVR\skin\Blue\Main Menu\skin.xml and change visible="true" to visible="false"

Ok, thanks. Now I got rid of that text and box, even could have there "now playing" instead.

you can replace the nextrecording panel with the weatherpanel, the text is similar, just try to match the dimensions with the weatherpanel's own skin. Or try the community skin, it should have the weather panel enabled.

also, you need to tick the "show weather in VA" or something like that, to get the weather panel to show up in the main menu

With following I managed to get "now playing" info on main screen:

..But it only shows music when played from Music Libary. I also have UbuStream plugin, does someone now how I could get also now playing info from UbuStream page to main page (text that appears bottom of UbuStream page, like "Di.fm now playing") ?

I do not have my system in front of me, but you need the skin for the weather panel, you need to have the weather panel enabled in the main menu skin, and you need to check a box in the options for the weather panel (in the config utility) which is something like "show in VA"
