Hi There,

I am going to order a Hauppauge Nova S Plus card for my new htpc. Just wondering if you can get all the nz freeview channels with this?

Thanks!!

Thanks for the quick reply sub! The reason why i ask is i was reading something in the nz freeviewshop forum: "To complicate matters, Freeview will use two transponders to supply 18 channels, so you will actually still need two DVB-S cards to record two channels that aren't in the same mux."

PS: I havent even got a tuner card yet and already running the PVR is huge amounts of fun! Smile

Thats always the case with GB-PVR anyway. A couple of apps allow you to record multiple free-to-air channels at the same time from one mux, all from one card. GB-PVR will only record one channel per card at any one time.

Ah. But you can still view all the channels with one card right? I think that i was getting confused here.
