Reoccurring programs overlap when showtime changes

Hi,

I update the epg manually about once a week using xmltv.....heres my problem

If one of my reoccurring programs change its showing time I get both programs overlaping on the guide and both set for recording with my dual tuner card.

I empty the epg before importing the new one. If I view my guide after emptying the epg, the guide is empty apart from all my scheduled recordings. This is whats causing the overlap. The new guide is then imported with the new showtime and then both are set for record.

My only work around for this is when I see the shows overlap I have to remove the recording from the scheduler, delete and import the epg and the replace the reoccurring program.

Any ideas?

Sorry, this is a known problem that can occur.

Its best to have your EPG set to do a complete reload, since this will delete exist pending season recordings episodes and reschedule them after the EPG update. One-off recordings or the master (first recording) in a season recording can still have this problem though - since they cant be removed from the database.
