MPEG2 Recording Only?

Is MPEG2 recording the only output you can have with gbpvr? assuming your card has a hardware mpeg2 encoder.

Yes MPEG2 (and option of MPEG1 on Hauppauge cards PVR cards).

The only exceptions are:
- digital devices devices creating recordings of non-MPEG2 streams - for example, the new MPEG4 digital TV services that are starting to appear in some parts of the world.
- GO7007SB devices with hardware divx encoders creating .avi files, but these devices are pretty crappy and no longer officially supported.

But you can set up gbpvr to convert the file to divx/xvid after recording is done.
