Hello,
I'm making a plugin. I want to connect to a database where all the info is stored.
How can i do this?
Where to store the database in the GBPVR tree?
Type of database? (access, sql, ...)

I'm now playing with the GBPVRUIElements library.
This works fine, but now i want to populate the elements with data form a database.

Any direction, help, suggestion is welcom.

Do you want to use your own data in your own database or information from the GBPVR database?

If its your own database, then to keep things consistent with the rest of the project use SQLITE. Some developers place their database in the main GBPVR folder, while others create a new sub folder

It's data that has nothing to do with GBPVR, thus i 'll use my own.
I'll make one in a seperate folder.

But how do i open the database from the plugin?
And how do i search things?
Simple things to start with.

Hate to say it but Google is your friend. There are loads of C# sites out there, many with code examples and tutorials: codeproject.com being a good start.

Also the MSDN site is very useful: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/defaul..._start.asp

Happy coding... Smile
