Technotrend budget pci and diseqc

Should diseqc work with the Technotrend budget pci dvb-s card? I see that the Nova-S has support for diseqc and they are very similar cards. Would I have to try the Nova driver to get it to work?

Unfortunately, no. It only has diseqc support for Twinhan, FireDTV and Hauppauge devices. That said, I have made some changes that should enable diseqc support for TechnoTrend devices in the next releases.

Actually, the Hauppauge diseqc support is only for all their newer cards (released in the last couple of years), not the old rebadged TechnoTrend DVB-S Budget card they used to sell as a 'Nova-S'. The newer cards like the Nova-S Plus, Nova-SE2, HVR3000, HVR4000 etc are all based on a different design and chipset.
