Hi,

Just a small point here. I use a monobloc LNB with built in Diseqc switching. This feeds through to a Nova S+. When I move from a channel on one Sat to the other, it takes approx 30secs for the switch to occur. I know it isn't the LNB, as I recently replaced my single output monobloc LNB with a similar dual output version. Whilst my set top box connected to the other output switches immediately, GBPVR still takes 30secs.

Is there a way of optimising or tweaking settings to get a faster switchover??

It might just be that my set top is lightening fast ;-)

Metronic analogue for 19.2E

I'm not aware of anything that would cause a delay. My diseqc switches seem pretty much instant.

Hi
I have the same problem when using diseqc to switch between satellites. It takes about 15 sec to swift. I have the same card as you. Would love to see a solution on this.

I will see if I can fix a clean log on this tomorrow.

Cheers...

To be more precise, I get a black screen for about 15 secs, then a "signal not detected" msg, either with the top bar at full (Astra 19.2E) or both bars blank (Hotbird 13E). After a further few seconds, the bottom bar comes on full (Astra) or the top bar comes on full (Hotbird) + picture appears. Could be some magic LNB settings I don't know about maybe??

Not a major problem, but i quite like to flick somtimes!

Sorry, I don't have time to post logs as kiddie no2 is due imminently- my better half frowns on tatting with TVs at times like this and insists on me doing things like painting nurseries!!! If you can post yours that would be great!

Sending the diseqc command seems to happen pretty much instantly, but it looks like the device is taking a while to lock onto the signal for some reason. I'm not really sure why that would be.

Just a quick follow up to this-

The "Live TV requiring getting black screen when starting live tv, until first channel change" config change in the survival guide has solved this for me when running the latest version of GBPVR.
