What's your favorite show from when you were growing up that you can't resist watching in re-runs?

I know I still catch Magnum PI, Simon & Simon and Battlestar Galactica every time they start airing the episodes.

Oh, and I'm getting my 5 year old son hooked on the old 1960's 'Batman' shows Big Grin

I would say it's Jim Hensons "the storyteller", I found it again just a few weeks ago and it was just as good as I remembered.

Yeah, I liked all those plus Dr Who, Blakes7, The Tomorrow People, Remington Steel, Scooby and a ton of other cartoons, Knight Rider, the A-Team, lots ok UK comedies etc but it ruins it for me when I see the shows now - particularly anything scifi. The effects seemed cool at the time, but so so cheesy now...

We had a grand total of two channels here in NZ until the early 80's.

Favourite show was, is and always will be: The Simpsons! Although Family Guy is growing on me and Only Fools and Horses always gets watched if it's on.

As you can tell I'm more of a comedy guy although I do like documentaries, but they are better if they are new rather than repeats.

Wow, 2 different channels. I grew up in the boonies in Virginia. We only had 1 channel until I was about 12 or 13 and that was with an antenna mounted on a 15' mast above the house. No need for a remote at our house!

When I was a little kid probably Andy Griffith and Bugs Bunny.

My favorite shows growing up:
Red Dwarf
McGyver (Who didn't like McGyver back in the day?)
Thunderbirds
Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons
Are you being served?

(Believe it or not, I'm a child of the 80's... I just caught a whole bunch of cool reruns from Canada)
