I am using (or at least trying to) the MusicPlayer.
I love it and the whole way it is designed.

Howver, I have a problem: most of my music is stored on another PC. I always have problems with it. I even mapped a drive letter to this folder (MSmile, but when I select this folder in MusicPlayer, it just disappears and the list on the left is reduced by one line.
The folder has over 100 sub-folders, and it is over WiFi, so maybe there are latency issues, but the built-in player has no issues accessing it and playing from it.

Attached are the logs.
* Rogers Analog Cable [Canada]
* Hauppauge WintTV PVR USB2
* IBM Thinkpad T42 / 1GB Mem / Centrino 1.6Ghz / 60GB HD / ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 + VGA/DVI out
* MCE Remote + Keyboard
* Win XP SP2 / GBPVR [Latest version. always]
* Pioneer HDTV via VGA (1360x768)
* MS Remote Keyboard
* Logitech Harmony 880 [via MS Remote Control Reciever]

Originally I organised my music collection also by directory. I hated the Music Players that came with GBPVR, because at that time they did not fit my mind.
The directory structure was my organising principle. I will not go into detail of what followed, but after playing with Music Library 2 I became converted that if I made use of the MP3 tags and a database of music I had a much more powerfull way of search and select music. I no longer was constrained to the mono-hierarchical structure of the directories.
There are many powerfull MP3 tag editors (I am using MP3Tag), which can do quite a bit for you in automatically setting the tags from your present directory structure, and from internet databases.

Your 'group' is then a directory(ies) or a collection in terms of ML2? If that is the case part of a possible solution for you would be to have 'collection' as one of the options in the 'View Tab' of the ML2 configurator I think

If that would be possible and fit your needs I strongly second that suggestion for a change in ML2. One can do collections in ML2 via a pop-up menu, but I find that rather inconvenient.

It looks like there is a problem when it tries the file M:01-Get More with Jukebox Plus!.mp3 I think the problem may be with the ! in the name. I'll try to find some time to test with that later today or tomorrow. I don't think the mapping to drive letters makes a difference once way or the other.

Yeah, but you know it doesn't appear under "Current" nor does it appear under "Unsupported", but only under "Complete List"

I just moved it to current. It was listed in the wrong place.

Sorry, but I deleted/renamed all files and folders with a "!" in them, still same behavior.

Attached is the latest log (maybe something else it didn't like?)
