I am having an issue with getting consecutive recordings to use alternating tuners on the HDHomerun.

I have set 'PreferAlternate' to 'true' in config.xml. (I'm at work and can't remember the exact name of the tag...sorry)
Both tuners are set as Capture Source #1. When consecutive recordings occur, they both occur on the same tuner.

When I attempted to change the 'XXXXXXXX-1' tuner to 'Capture Source #2' it failed to record and created a 0 byte file.

Have I configured the tuners incorrectly with both as Source #1?

Remember, if you've just changed this setting, it only affect recordings scheduled in the future, not those already in your pending list.

Ahh...I thought that the tuner selection was re-evaluated after the EPG update takes place...I'll be patient for a week and see if the situation resolves after the current list is replaced with new entries.

Thanks for the quick reply!
