Installed GBPVR today and thanks to the posts on this forum have it working great. The only irregularity I seem to be experiencing is when I start to record live tv. The picture size shrinks by about 2 - 3 inches on all sides keeping it's aspect ratio but smaller. Playback of the recorded program is the same.
I am using Windows XP, clean install, SP2 and fully updated, latest version of GB-PVR, Hauppauge pvr-250 and ATI Radeon 9200 SE. I have tried changing the Video Renderer in Config from VMR9 to VMR9 Custom and VMR9 Full Screen Exclusive with exactly the same result...no change. Is this supposed to happen? My tv's screen size is 1024x768 and it looks like resolution is set at 720x480 when recording at high quality, is this the reason for the picture changing size?
