Capture Card Help Needed (with Sony Vaio PCVRZ32Z)

Sony utilizes its own proprietary hardware with the Vaio and I'm having trouble getting gbpvr working because it does not recognize or support the Sony Vaio video capture card. I've tried running GraphEdit to change the .ini file but GraphEdit does not list any BDA Source Filters. Seems like it's not recognizing the card either.

I can currently view TV/Video through Sony's proprietary Giga Pocket PVR, but I'd like to get gbpvr operational. Any suggestions?

Sorry but this device isnt compatible with GB-PVR. It lacks the required hardware MPEG2 encoder.

You might be able to get it to work with the plugin from here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=2753, but it doesnt seem to be supported by anyone these days. In general it's easy to buy a supported capture device.
