Sub....I need to drop my firewall on the GBPVR pc to connect the MVP.....what ports should be open for MVP communication?

From memory its ports 5906 and 8337.

It's more complicated than that. You will also need udp inbound 16881 for the locator, udp 16869 for tftp and then a range of tcp ports depending on how how many servers you autostart, ie if you autostart 3 you need to open tcp 5906,5907 5908 and 8337, 8338 and 8339.

Opening TCP 5906 and 8337 resloved the issue for me.

I didn't have a problem locating the server and recieved the dongle without issue....just the interface was not comming up.....as soon as I added these two ports (I only start 1 server) everything was fine.
