Sub,

First let me say I really enjoy the new interface. Thank you for you your tireless efforts towards GBPVR. I did a search of the forums and did not see this issue listed so here goes....

I use m3U playlists to customize my audio library to my listening desires.

Previous versions of GBPVR supported the use of m3u files but the new version does not appear to recognize these files.

Again I am very appreciative for the improved version. Will m3u support be included in the future?

Thank you again, Kevin

I concur, I'm kind of missing m3U playback as well - though mainly because it is the only way at present to make FLAC files play at all.

You should be able to add it's extension to the <MusicLibraryExtensions> setting in config.xml

Can you try playing a .m3u file in the Music Library, then zip and attach the PVRX2.exe.log?

Sub,

I am having bigger problems than the m3u issue. Not sure if I should start a new thread or not. When I try to access the photo or music from the GUI it simply freezes. Logs are attached. I did have success on one occasion of getting the directory to open and be able to access the files. However that was one success in at least 4 or 5 attempts.

Thank you as always,

Kevin

UPDATE... Sorry Sub. My fault! I was double clicking the "Music" or "Pictures".
Single Click works fine. Double click freezes PVRX2.

Thank you as always.

Here is my log file. It looks like it is adding all the tracks to the playlist from the m3u, and then nothing happens. It doesn't hang because I can then move away from the m3u and do something else.

BTW, flac's now work after adding the extension.

Looks like a lot of slashes at the start of those filenames. Whats in the m3u file? Is it using relative or absolute paths?

This is what is in the M3U.

01-New Born.mp3
02-Bliss.mp3
03-Space Dementia.mp3
04-Hyper Music.mp3
05-Plug In Baby.mp3
06-Citizen Erased.mp3
07-Micro Cuts.mp3
08-Screenager.mp3
09-Darkshines.mp3
10-Feeling Good.mp3
11-Megalomania.mp3

So no paths at all.

In fact I noticed that the lines shown before (with all the \\\\ in them) are entered into the log as soon as I enter the directory, and not when the m3u is chosen.

FWIW, this M3U hasn't changed, and used to work with 99.12, and works with WMP etc.
