How is the support for EWA in the new release of GBPVR? Is it the same as GBPVR 99.12?

I couldn't see any info on wiki page on the difference between GBPVR 1.0.8 and 99.12.

Would I gain anything to upgrade as I use EWA most control recoding through web interface on my CRT instead of standard view with blue skin. It is very rare I use standard view to watch LiveTV today.

EWAs streaming work very good for me with VLC to watch both locally or from internet my recordings and to play music.

I do not use remote control, only keyboard and mouse.

Considering my usage to record with GBPVR and be able to access from internet my computer to see video, tv, photo and music, would I gain anything to upgrade or just be better to wait?

1.0.8 includes the current release of EWA.

I dont know. Its up to you really. If you do decide to skip a release or two, try not to get too far behind since this often cause upgrade problems down the track.

What kind of future upgrade problems? Is it in hardware that is not power full enough to run GBPVR or is it related to application like FFDSHOW when we talk about potential upgrade problems?

Thanks SUB for you fast answer on a Friday. Big Grin

I only test upgrades from the previous release. Some users that have got several release behind in the past have found that the upgrade procedure doesnt work for them when they try to skip several versions.
