screensaver in latest version

Is there any chance of getting the screensaver re-instated in the latest version of gbpvr

I mainly use gbpvr as a music jukebox with musiclibrary2 sending to an MVP running martins mvpmc dongle.

In previous versions the screensaver kicked in after 30 seconds or so and well saved my TV screen, but latest version just leaves the screen displayed all the time.

There is no screen saver functionality in PVRX2 yet, but I'll be adding it back in for the next release.

sub, in PVRX2 will external screen savers work? Ie my ML2Panel which is a screen saver as well?

No, there is no logic for showing screensavers. You could fake it within your plugin, but nothing system wide.

Great I look forward to this, in the meantime presumably since the MVP server is entirely new I'd be better going back to the previous version, until the screensaver is re-instated

Sub, excellent release! Could we perhaps have an option in config to have the internal screensaver or the windows screensaver? I've am absolutely overjoyed that the Windows screensaver is coming through on pvrx2 as this was always something that I wanted in the 0.9x releases.

While we are on screensavers I have noticed in pvrx2 that the screensaver is disabled when there is Live TV Playback but not in recordings playback!!

Also most other pvr softwares will re-enable the screensaver when Recordings\LiveTV is paused - this would be a nice feature also.

The screensaver is back for the next release, but as with previous releases it can be disabled using the <ScreenSaverEnabled> setting in config.xml. If disabled, then the Windows screen saver will be able to kick in.

I've definitely not seen the screen saver kick in here while watching recordings, but I'll double check.

Ditto here. The screensaver has come on a few times for me during playback of recorded video.
