Let me answer you. I just learnt this from the forumers. You should check

"Configuration -> Misc -> Use Live Preview mode if possible" (When this is checked, GB-PVR will let you channel surf quicker as it is not timeshifting. )

Yep, what he said, unless you're using an MVP - then you're stuck with timeshifting mode which needs to write files to disk.

Everything I have says the card is a Conexant Fallcon , but when I turn that on the program crashes on start, proping one of those "end now" dialogues
