Hi!

Just a short question: Is it possible to record the FM Radio of the TV-Card within GB-PVR? Buffering is possible, this is why i ask.

The problem: Within 27 hours comes on a german Radiostation a "AC!DC"-documentation of about 7 hours!!! I really want to record this for a good friend.

Can someone help me out and describe this?

I hope you found your solution before the AC/DC special. I had asked this question before and it appears that GBPVR does not allow scheduled FM recordings.

One piece of software that I've used for doing this is Snaptune. I haven't used it for a long while when it was still buggy, but now may be what you're looking for and it appears that it's now in version 2.

Take a look at: http://www.snaptune.com/home/default.aspx

#2) Celeron, @ 2.2 Ghz, Windows 2003 server SP1, 1Gig RAM, 2 x Hauppauge MCE-150s (running 24x7)
#3) PopCorn Hour.. I'm working on that one.

XBMC & 2 Hauppauge Media MVPs connecting to the server.. and a couple Terrabytes of kids shows.

Yes and no.

Yes, i found a solution (not really a solution, more of a workaround). I configured GB-PVR to "force FM buffering mode" so that the whole listeningsession can be unlimited recorded... then you'll have an .mp3 within your recordingsfolder.
But this is really only a workaround and MUCH away from the comfort, we all know from the videopart @ GB-PVR. I would be happy, if sub would spent more time with the FM Tuner AddOn (recordings, simultanous recordings with other tuners while listening...), because: As good as internet, digital TV might be, "normal" Radio will everytime have a place with us.
For the morning show, the breakfast, for the news... for events like the AC/DC concert.

2. Thank you, but i would lovely make it all from inside gb-pvr. I think if sub had a little more time... ;D

Sorry, I'll be honest - radio just isnt a priority for me, and I struggle to find time for it with all the other stuff going on.

It's a shame you're not going to be holidaying in England. The weather here is so appalling at the moment you'd have plenty of time to sit in your hotel room to work on it. :p Big Grin
