Hi All.
as you can see from my specs, i have a capable box (or so i think). my problem is, that i mostly gbpvr for recording football (american) games. my issue is that the quality just doesn't cut it for me. with all the quick motion on the screen there is substantial deterioration of the image. (i dont know if you call it ghosting or what, but its definitely not a smooth transitional image)
Ive read other with similar concerns, but nothing to greatly improve the quality.
does anyone have suggestions to how i can tweak the image and improve the quality for sports?
in my config, i have given the capture source the "highest" quality, which i think has improved the quality, but not to the extent i would like.
for the record, i have tried different video decoders, but only the CyberLink Video/SP Decoder allow for an image during playback. I have the following other options available:
System Default
CyberLink Video/SP Decoder (selected)
InterVideo NonCSS Video Decoder for
Nero Video Decoder
GPL MPEG-1/2 Decoder
ffdshow MPEG-4 Video Decoder
For the video Renderer i use VRM9
I have tried watching live football games on the Hauppage WinTV application, and it appears just like live tv (however it comes in black and white :S).
Again, thanks to all for the support and great application.
