http://www.nebula-electronics.com/inform...?Code=0001
that has the best reviews to date but no gb pvr support yet

Doubtful if there ever will be nebula support as it does not have a hardware encoder.
why not go for a pvr250 and get an external freeview box tkgafs

DVB cards dont actually need a hardware encoder. They signal comes "pre-encoded". The broadcasts are transmitted in MPEG2 format.

Are you saying that GB-PVR would work OK with a DVB card, e.g. Nebula card in earlier post?

Or maybe even a Pinnacle PCTV MediaCenter 300i for UK digi tv.

Thank you for your reply and please do excuse my lack of knowledge on BDA and I may well be talking out of term but will the digital BDA support be worldwide, Country or network provider specific?
i.e. Will it work the same in New Zealand as in the UK?

The theory is it'll be the same world wide. There will most likely be some ugly text files that you need to configure the list of stations available (transponder/symbol rates etc), but other than that it should be the same.

And have just found the "Search" icon !! |
