To be honest, the easiest option is probably just to try it and see.

I'm not aware of any other specific tests that will let you know how it will perform. In general modern cards will be fine. Old cards will be marginal, and the user will need to give it a go unless they can find info in previous posts indicating how the user got on with that specific card. I dont personally know whether your PNY TNT-2 card will cut it or not.

Start->Run->Dxdiag

This will at least let you check that your hardware and drivers are DirectX compatible. Smile

I believe that is a directx 6.0 card so it's unlikely it's going to work very well.
If you have a newish machine, you might want to invest in a newer card

depends on what you call a newish machine really some specs would be better

how much ram does the card have

from what ive seen like pastro said it will only do directx6
you need a minimum from what i have read of directx 8 to run vmrcustom(the way the picture is drawn to the screen)

i would get some more ram aswell its cheap these days otherwise you may find things a bit sluggish

ati 9200 and above (but i wouldnt go below 9550)
nvidia 6200 and above (but same again i would go a bit higher)

try and get a fanless card less noise plus the fans on video cards always shit themselves

i see your old card is pci which may limit your choices alot (most cards now are pci-e even agp cards are limited now)
