I've searched pretty hard, and I just can't find what all the buttons on the 34-key Hauppauge remote do on the MediaMVP under GP-PVR!

I love the functionality that the GBPVR brings to this unit, but I sure do miss the ability to press 1-9 to get 10% to 90% through a file. Is there not a similar function under the GBPVR server? I thought I read someplace that I could enter the # of seconds, and hit the "go" button, but that doesn't work.

Is there a definitive list of what all the functions available through the MediaMVP are, and what special commands are offered via the colored buttons?

Thx,
Dave

The tables here have a column for Hauppage remote, maybe useful.

More info here too.

Unless I'm mistaken, you enter the number of minutes you want to skip, and then press the Skip button. So to skip a 4 minute advert break, you press 4 then skip. Pressing skip on its own without entering a number will skip 30 seconds. It gives you much more control and freedom than the hauppauge way of doing it

Hope this helps Smile

That helps, both posts. I'll try them out again tonight.

Ahh, then I have to figure out why my xDVD plugin stopped working! Gah.... Ok, maybe time to install daemon tools...sigh...

Hey, wait - daemon tools only works if I'm using it locally on the PVR PC directly! AAAAUGH!

Ok, anybody know why xDVD plugins aren't working with this latest release?

Thx very much,
Dave
