Transcoded image is narrow

When I set GBPVR to transcode a file to DIVX overnight the image of the resulting file is about 1/3 narrower than it should be.

Is there some setting I need to adjust to get this right?

Are you using ZProcess or just default FFmpeg that ships with GB-PVR?

If you are using ZProcess, it will intercept calls for automatic transcoding.

If you are just using the ffmpeg, then: have you tweaked or changed the commandline parameters from config.xml?

Here's one more question: Is it regular 4x3 video that you are transcoding?

I guess I'm using FFmpeg since I just installed GBPVR and I haven't done anything about setting up ZProcess.

No. I don't know, yet, what I would be doing there.

PK. In the GBPVR folder there is a file we work with a lot called: config.xml

Although the file is a special xml format (it makes it easy to access from withing a program) it is only really a text file. You can open it in notepad, edit it and close it. Your would then restart GB-PVR for the changes to take effect...

Anyway, in the config.xml you will find these two lines:

I've included the line for xvid too ,because I like it better, but it shouldn't matter which you choose.

I would add or change the lines that you will see above to look like this:
