I have a very strange bug, for some reason, when I try to view a channel, half of the time (exactly half, works every odd try, doesn't work every even try) i get a black screen, going back to the guide, and trying to access the channel again fixes this. Any idea what's going on?

Edit: I'm using an Nvidia Dual TV card, with the ini modifications found at these forums. Running windows XP, with GB-PVR 1.0.16

Bumping this up from the 3rd page, just wondering still if anyone has any idea what would cause the program to only work half the time when trying to watch live tv

I don't know what might cause this.. - Have you checked your logs? Feel free to zip and post them if you want someone else to take a look.

You'll probably want to make sure logging level is set to debug and that flushing is enabled in config & then of course reproduce the problem..

It could be as simple as decoders, so try other video/audio decoders to see if it behaves any better.

...that said, I have seen several posts that makes me think the Nvidia DualTV is "flakey".

Sorry, I'm not really sure what the cause of this problem is.
