I am putting out a request for a US located individual to help with shipping from the US to Canada of a recently purchased AV receiver. I bought it from a company in the US but they won't ship to Canada so I will have it shipped to a US address and from there on to my home address in Canada.

I can pay for the US to Canada postage using paypal so it should be pretty easy to do.

So if anyone in the US is willing to help out please send me a PM and we can work out the details.

PS. Have a look at this seller on ebay for good deals on JVC RXD302B units.

tipstir Wrote:You sure you want JVC, their products don't hold up as well.. I won't buy another product from them ever again. I got burnt by buying two most expensive product TV and VCR they had and those only lasted 1 year then broke. I got the wife a JVC stereo with CD 180 Watts from BB and it was installed for free. After a year sure enough it won't eject the CD you have to press power off before the CD would come on. Does all kind of weird $$#@4.. So their stuff is still junk...

Actually I have always had great experiences with JVC products. I bought a stereo 4 head VHS unit in 1986 for $1000 and it is still working, of course I don't use it any more now that I have GBPVR. But really I have an older AMP, TV, VCR all JVC and all working fine after many years. Maybe the newer stuff is not as good as in the past I don't know, but will soon find out.
