Since the Yahoo scraper no longer works, I desperately need an EPG. What is better/worse than what Zap2It had?

SchedulesDirect uses the Zap2It EPG so it's essentially the same.

Well its not as good in that its not free, but otherwise I've not noticed a difference in the quality of service. Mine updates nightly without issue.

The good news is, it's only $20/year. So basically, if you skip one starbucks coffee or one restaurant soda a year, but you pay for this service... you're actually ahead Big Grin
System Specs:
Adaptec 3610 Tuner
Windows XP Pro, AMD 3200, ATI X800XT, 1GB PC3200 RAM, Abit N7 Motherboard, using on-board sound
Samsung 43" DLP

I hadn't paid attention to the change in pricing. When I signed up it was $15/3 months, which was still worth it to me. I don't live and die based on my PVR, but I do love having it, especially when you can create a DVD of Blue's Clues for a 3 year old instead of watching the same 5 episodes via On-Demand! Smile

I used Yahoo till the shutdown and now use the Zap2It free scraper which works very well other than I can't get the * for new shows to show up in the guide, which isn't a big concern anyway. If you haven't seen it, I don't think it's on the wiki but only in the forums.

If you use the I-xmltv process as detailed here it does:

It's been great, and now I get 15 days of info. Seems to do that pretty quick.
