Ok, so I run a multi monitor set up on the PVR. Don't ask why, its a long story about a bad motherboard on my main computer, the PVR is my backup.

Anyway, I had PVRX2.exe running on one screen and I wasn't paying attention when I started GBPVR.exe on the other. Well apparently this is one way to open a gate strait into hell. My computer monitors flashed a few times and smoke billowed from the DVD drive!. Well, not really. But I apperntly broke the GBPVR.exe.

Now when I try to run it I get annoying and useless "GB-PVR has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. " Followed by a send or dont send error message. However if I don't click on send or don't send I can use the GBPVR.exe until I do click on the send/don't send.

I'm running v1.0.16 and I don't have a clue as to what I broke. A reboot did not restore order to my PVR. I don't really need the GBPVR.exe but its nice to be able to go back to it for things like the search guide feature. Any ideas?

Well, yes I suppose that would work. I guess I was looking for a less, "distructive" option.

Thanks.

just save the gbpvr folder before hand in case you want to find out what went wrong

Export the recordings info (in Config, on the Plug-ins tab) before wiping out the old install. Save the Recordings-dump.xml file from the main GB-PVR directory off somewhere safe for later reload.

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Sorry for the delay, I worked late last night. I didn't get a chance to work on the PVR. So attached is my logs. I restarted the recording service then reproduced the problem. I grabbed all the logs created at that time and zipped them up.

Please let me know what I did so I can fix it.

Thanks Sub

Sorry, you might need to enable log flushing in the config app, then repeat and repost the logs.
