I can't view the Video Archive on the MVP. When I click on Videos it crashes. I installed it today using the "Test" file. I downloaded it today. I use a skin called "Jeff Blue" that has larger fonts. The crash is related to the skin because if I go back to the blue skin it works.

However, I have a second problem. When I go into the Videos section it only shows to directories of shows and nothing else. I can't see any of the other recordings that I can see in the recordings directory.

Attached are my logs.

I think for some reason your database wasn't upgraded properly on an earlier install. It looks like it was fixed up by the most recent install. When you enter the main screen of the plug-in, can you press GO on the remote (F11 on the keyboard) to force it to rescan for all files. If that doesn't fix it, can you post the logs again after the rescan.

The Go button seemed to update everything. That part seems to look good now. I need to play with it a bit to see why my other skin is not working.

Thanks

I'm a big fan of VA... I installed VA again after a several month of not using it. - This is my first attempt with the new DB
It works well except the first time I open VA I get a message that says, please wait. This takes several seconds for the programs to show.

Any way to pre-load the shows or to speed the show loading?

I just posted an update yesterday. The plug-in should notify you automatically the next time you enter it that an update is available. Can you let me know if it does.

It did notify of the update beautifully (see attachment). It does so both on the MVP and the PC alike.

Nice indeed Big Grin !

Maybe the OK button should set a flag that notification has been shown, and then only show up again when next update is available. More for the ones that (unlike me) don't update straight away. Rolleyes

Speaking of - need to start downloading and installing now ... :p

It is supposed to only show the update message once every 24 hours to remind you if you haven't yet updated.
