since my upgrade to 1.0.16 I can see no more albumart displayed. I tried reinstalling & rescanning ML2, but still no album art.

In the logs I do find there is an error initializing ML2.

I dont think it's your problem, but you can remove the System.Data.SQLite.dll from the plugins directory.

Did you install a new skin as well?

removed the the dll from the plugin dir. Did notice that the dll is also in the gbpvr directory (where it belongs I guess?)
But I still have the same problem, no album art.

no just using plain blue.

Could this problem be related to the one I posted in the general support forum?

I haven't seen any other complaints.

Are you missing music specific album art, or also the no art picture from the bottom left?

The image is in the skin\blue\musiclibrary2 directory, called playcd.png.

This should show up when there is no art.

I can see no albumart at all, for none of the tracks. All I see is the playcd.png. Before the upgrade I did see albumart correctly, when available.

could you post a full log for me so I can see if its trying to load art.

I'm not sure if it shows up inthe log though. Make sure you're on debug log level.

Hi Psycik,

Here are the logs:

I have added the config.exe log where you can see there is an error initializing ML2. This may be related?

Since I have been re-organizing my collection heavily the last time (not the least adding album art... ), I nuked the library, removed all paths & collections and just re-added one directory organised in artist/album subdires with 4 pieces of albumart in each dir: folder.jpg, albumartsmall.jpg & two jpg's of WMP (albumart_{......}).

In ML2, still no album art shows, except when you look at track details (after pressing OK on a selected track).

I hope you can find what is wrong.

I can see it trying:
Code:
9/10/2007 20:52:02    VERBOSE    MusicLibrary2: Attempting to retrieve Album art for: Abdullah Ibrahim - Whoza Mtwana

but I dont think I log the after effect... I'll add a bit more logging in this area so we can determine what is happening.

Also i'll check what mine is doing as my "Prod" machine is not yet using the 6.6 version.

Hi,

I tried with GBPVR.EXE and here ML2 does not even show up in the menu. This may be connected to my album art problem? Anyway, I would be really glad if you could help me find the problem...

With gbpvr.exe ML2 lives in the Plugins directory (and in the Plugins\MusicLibrary2).

Sorry i haven't had a decent chance to look at this for you, as I've had some pretty big problems at work (have an SQL server thats decided it doesn't want to run for more that a couple of hours at a time....) that have taken all of my focus.. I should get somw time this weekend..
