Which DVB-C card for NTL/telewest/virgin

My GBPVR setup is working rather well at the moment and as the wife is going away next week for a few days. I was considering taking all to pieces and having a bit of a play.

In the house that I have just moved into I have DVB-C. Altough I have not subsribed to the TV package I do get my phone and internet through it.

I was wondering however if I could get the FTA channels (particly BBC HD) from this source and if anyone is doing this which DVB-C card would you reccommend.

This would be illegal so not the sort of thing that Sub would want discussed on the forum.

You need to subscribe to Virgin Media TV services to gain access to the TV service

BBC HD isn't FTA

Virgin Media has no legal requirement to provide FTA channels in the UK and its illegal to connect your own hardware to the cable network in the UK

I didn't realize that. I just thought it would be an easy way to add a second tuner to my system. I also thought that all BBC channels regardless of the transmission where FTA. So thanks for correcting me.
