GBPVR 99.12 DVB_T from Crystal Palace.
Never had a problem with my EPG until this week - 2 channels, E4 and CITV, no longer get any EPG data, and even if I go to an adjacent channel and use the program +/- keys, I cannot watch them.
Tried emptying the EPG and reloading, tried deleting them and rescanning, but no go.
I know Sub no longer supports older versions, but wondered if other users have this problem and any possible fixes?

P.S. also just noticed that the guide seems confused on new channels that time-share the same frequency. For example, the EPG for UK History (which now only broadcasts in the daytime) gived program info for a new channel called 'Dave', so I cannot watch any UK History. Tried a Freeview STB and History works fine, as does 'Dave'

This problem is not version related...

Looks like channels have been moved around - for instance the Dave/UKTV History problem. UKTV History has moved to another mux and Dave has got the old UKTV History spot. I haven't checked yet, but other things could have been moved too.

The sledge-hammer way to fix it would be to empty your EPG, delete and then re-add your capture device(s), etc.

Alternatively, empty your EPG, edit your capture device(s) and remap digital channels to epg channels, but before you remap your first capture device, find UKTY History in the 'Channels' list, select it and 'Remove' it. Rescan (you'll need to 'enable' UKTV history), reload your EPG. Worked for me...

Thank you I will give it a try. I was starting to wonder if it was a mistake by whatever company transmits the EPG...

Whenever you get this sort of problem, it's worth having a look here to see what has changed. As you can see, there are quite a few changes planned in the next few months. Your STB checks for such changes - that's when you get the 'new or changed channels have been found...' stuff. GBPVR doesn't do that and it's unlikely that sub will implement it, since the percentage of gbpvr users on DVB-T is probably quite small - plus it would screw up your scheduled recordings.

Nice link thank you. After doing as you suggested I now have the correct EPG for History and Dave. But still nothing for E4 or CITVSad
CITV is not a problem but I had some season recordings on E4 - I have had to cancel them and do new season recordings on E4+1. Seems crazy that the EPG for +1 is there, but not E4...

Hit 'Update EPG' in the config app, then zip and attach the config.exe.log and I'll take a look.

Ah, sorry I didnt see the bit in your post where you said you were running v0.99.12. I was hoping to read some of the 1.0.16 DVB EPG log messages, but these obviously arent in your logs.

You should try 1.0.16 when you get a chance. It includes an entirely rewritten DVB EPG grabber, which is much more reliable and less likely to result in gaps or missing listings.

Thank you sub, I bit the bullett and installed 1.0.16 and my EPG is now perfect.
I don't know why I did not try it before - I think it was because I took a long time, as a new user, to get 99.12 just right for me, & I thought it would take just as long again to get 1`.0.16 the same.
But in fact it took about ten minutes! Just installed it and the three patches, did a full EPG reload and Voila! Everything works perfectly using PVRX2 -fse
Thanks again for the great work.
