Looking at the GBPVR log(s) I am not sure that my video card is actually using its hardware MPEG to display video on my TV. How can I be sure?

My hardware is Compaq SFF D510, 512mb RAM, XP Pro, dedicated to GBPVR, 160gb IDE HD, NVidia (Jaton) GEForce 6200 low profile.

Thanks.

What is the CPU load during playback? What type and speed is your processor?

You wouldnt normally see this in the GB-PVRs logs. All you would see is what decoders are being used. For example, it might say you're using the Cyberlink decoder. Behind the scenes a decoder can be using hardware acceleration/decoding features of your video card to reduce the amount of CPU work the PC has to do to decode that video.

Often you'll have to look at the decoder settings to see if it has an option for enabling/disabling hardware acceleration.
