First time poster and new member. I was looking at purchasing this card, but I was hoping they were trying to get the clear QAM working on it with gbpvr. I was told by the VistaView support that gbpvr is one of several programs that they are working towards getting to work with QAM. Is this true? Thanks!

They've supplied a test card, so hopefully it'll support clear QAM with this device in the future. It doesnt work yet though. I'm waiting for more info from VistaView on the subject.

The reply from Vista View that I received states " We now support QAM with GBPVR, but they are experiencing some difficulties with recording."
How do I get QAM so that I can even get GBPVR to use my Saber DA-1N1 Combo Tuner card to view TV channels, which so far I have not been able to do???

Setup a capture source using the 'VistaView Saber (QAM)' card type, then hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' button and it'll do a seach for QAM channels.

You also need to make sure you have the patch that is in the Survival Guide.

My Saber DA-1N1 found 4 qam channels. I have a hdhomerun configured in BeyondTV that found over 20 channels using the same source. I am trying to leave btv because they do not support qam on the Saber DA-1N1 - but I am not getting enough channels.

Their support people gave me some new drivers to try. I see they now have them posted on their website finally...Big Grin
