Newbie needs VistaView DA-1N1-E help please

I have been using BeyondTV for some time now but I heard that GB-PVR supports clear QAM for the VistaView. I have never used GBPVR before and was trying to configure it. I also have a Firefly remote control.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

Where did you get to, and what problem did you have?

Basically you need to setup a digital capture source, select you card type, setup you epg, then hit the 'map digital channels to epg channels' to scan for channels.

I got to the config part and was going to select a source...but my card is not listed. I know there is some article about setting up your card in an INI file but I am not sure what the values are to plug in. Plus it was asking stuff like what slot its in and all of that.

So the problem I have is not knowing how to get going with the new app. Any 1.2.3 step process would be great if geared toward my card.

When you create you capture source, you need to set the recording plugin to 'digital recording plugin' otherwise you'll only see analog cards listed (which I assume is why you dont see your card listed).
