Make a backup before tweaking

I hit the "refresh channels" button and lost all my channels. The normal add and remove works ok, as does grabbing listings. I'm guessing the RT site has a missing file in its downloads.

Been there done that Big Grin

Now I just manually add new channels to the channel file after finding the id of the new channel from the main site

If you report this to Alan Birtles, then I'm sure he'll add something to the code which checks for the file before wiping the existing data.

BTW - the file is back on the RT site now.

Cheers,
Brian

Yeah but that number doesn't mean what you think. They got it wrong originally. You should watch QI - it has some 'quite interesting' things on it from time to time (most weeks actually Smile ).

Cheers,
Brian
