Recorded a show last night that seems to be exhibiting some strange behaviour after running through comskip (latest v.79.111). Comskip itself seems to be running and finding the ads just fine, but when playing in PVRX2 it skips at the wrong times.

By way of example, the 3rd ad block detected is found at frame 101892, or 67mins 55secs in (its PAL) to the recording if I look at it in the comskip GUI. However, when playing back the file within GB-PVR, the ad is actually appearing around the 64mins mark according to the GB-PVR timeline. The show then keeps playing for another 3mins 55s, then skips as it's reached the 67m55s mark. In other words there is an inconsistency between what GB-PVR thinks is 67m55 of show and what comskip thinks it is.

Any ideas what might have caused this / how it can be fixed?

I'm not sure if I'd be able to tell from the logs, but try playing the file then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

Here you are. Tried skipping around the file a bit as well through and past the ads. I also noticed when I was watching the file that sometimes when I paused playback then resumed it would resume in a different place. Possibly further suggesting the timeline is somehow broken?

I've also attached the comskip output for reference in britz.zip.

In the comskip output file, what was the rate?

It says fps=25 so it's detecting the rate correctly I think.

I'm not really sure. No signs of anything going wrong in the logs.

Unfortunately I'd probably need the recording itself to be able to diagnose further.

Does the amount the timeline is off, progressively get worse or is it constantly off the same amount?

It seems to be all over the place actually, the next ad break at 82mins 36s for example is actually at 80mins 24s, so it's fewer frames behind (approx 3295) that the previous ad break (4967 frames).

How big is the recording, and do you have access to a web server?

It's a couple of gigs unfortunately and would take forever to upload. Guess I'll have to wait and see if it happens on something a bit smaller then you might be able to take a look.
