Using the latest GB-PVR
I have my system working with one pvr150 connected to the set tob box through composite and everything is working great.

Just added a second capture card and since I don't have another available STB I want to connect it through the antena and use the card's tuner

Searching the forum regarding how to tune channels through the aerial I read about a tool called tuning assitant, but i can't seem to find it at the config section.

Can someone please show me where it is and how to use it in order to set the system for the new demands
thanks

its in the gbpvr folder
click on it select your card you will need to write down the frequencies it finds
if you dont find anthing try changing from antenna to cable

After running the scan, do I need to perform any advanced config actions that I'm not aware of other than defining a new card, using the same XML file for EPG and using the channels it found?

the tuning assistant only finds the programs i beleive
i pretty sure yo have to manually add them to match your epg
when you add your card
i think there is another way of doing it modifying some file but this is how i did mine

You need to have a capture source for your second card, and it needs to have an EPG with the list of channels, and the correct channel numbers next to each channel.

I ran the tuning tool, it got all the channels right and i was able to see them on screen
Defined a new capture source and matched the channels to the EPG
Some of the channels are not availble without a STB so I unchecked them from the card that is connected through aeriel

I get no picture with the card that is connected through aeriel, just the sound. With the assitant tool I did see them.
The card that is connected to the STB is working fine

Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

There it is
I recorded a channel that is availeble only with STB to force the card that is connected with composite to work, then tried to watch tv using the second card. Channels data appears corect and the sound belongs to the right channel, but there is no picture.

I started my HTPC with avermedia 785, but i had humming problems so i replaced to pvr150.
yesterday i reconected the avermedia through aeriel and had it worked with its own software, suprisingly there where no hum through aeriel, just through composite.
So I thought having it work with GBPVR
